John’s Flank Steak
My favorite summer meal was my grandfather’s flank steak and since I was his favorite that meant we had it often. I’ve tried to duplicate it, but it never tastes as good as his did.
Marinade Ingredients:
1/2 c. salad oil
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. green onion
1 clove crushed garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. celery salt
Instructions:
Marinade at last 2 hours turning frequently. In my experience, you should really do it at least 8 hours or overnight for best flavor.
Drain and broil.
